1. About us
This website is operated by RetaStudio, based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us by email at retaStudioUK@gmail.com.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them before you buy.
2. Our products
RetaStudio sells empty glass vials and related packaging supplies. Our vials are sold empty. We do not sell, supply or recommend any substance to put in them, and we do not give medical or dosing advice.
Product photos are for illustration. Small differences in colour, finish or size may occur. Product sizes and specifications are listed on each product page.
Our products are intended for laboratory and research use. We sell to laboratories, research organisations and professional buyers, not to individuals for personal use. Our products are not intended for personal, household or medical use.
3. Who can buy
By using this website or placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or over, that you are buying on behalf of a laboratory, research organisation or business for research purposes, and that you are not buying for personal use. We may ask for details of your organisation and may cancel any order that does not meet these conditions. We currently deliver to the United Kingdom only.
4. Orders and contract
When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming we have received it. This is not acceptance. Our contract with you is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched.
We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price was listed in error, or we cannot verify payment. If we cancel, we will refund you in full.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay.
We accept payment by debit card. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider, and we never see or store your card details. Payment is taken when you place your order.
6. Delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within 2 working days. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or someone you nominate.
If your order has not arrived within 5 working days of dispatch, contact us at retaStudioUK@gmail.com and we will look into it.
7. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Your rights to cancel and return are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy on our website, which forms part of these terms.
8. Use of products
You agree to use our products only for lawful laboratory and research purposes. You are responsible for how you use our products once delivered, and for following any laws that apply to you. Vials should be inspected before use. Do not use any vial that is damaged, cracked or has a broken seal.
9. Our liability
If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your legal rights as a consumer, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
10. Your personal information
We use your personal information only to process and deliver your order and to contact you about it. See our Privacy Policy on our website for details.
11. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier failures, strikes or severe weather. We will contact you if this affects your order.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order is the one that applies.
13. Complaints and governing law
